Approach

Sean’s approach is to listen to what a client wants and to provide practical advice to achieve the client’s objectives.  This means providing business as well as legal advice and not unnecessarily complicating a situation.  The strength of the approach is the very personal connection with each client based on understanding the client’s priorities.  Most client relationships are long term.

Background

Sean trained and qualified as a solicitor at Clifford Chance, joining Harbottle & Lewis in 1989 where he advised film and television clients and worked increasingly with Laurence Harbottle developing his theatre expertise. Sean joined Bates Wells & Braithwaite in 1999 as a partner to lead an arts and media department, leaving in 2014 to set up Sean Egan Consultants so he could concentrate on client advice.
